I’m a Minnesota native who now calls southern Alabama home. By day, I work in the transportation industry. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me planning the next trip, exploring somewhere new, cruising to a new port, or spending time outdoors.
Dohrn Travels grew from my own travel experiences and the things I wanted to know before a trip. Which excursion is actually worth booking? How do you get from the airport to the cruise port? What should you pack? Where should you stay? And what would I do differently next time?
That’s what I try to answer here. I share what I did, what worked, what didn’t, and practical details that can save you time and make planning easier.
Outside of travel, I enjoy hiking, fishing, hunting, camping, and relaxing outside whenever I get the chance. For me, a good adventure can be anything from exploring Alaska or snorkeling in the Caribbean to a simple weekend road trip.
